Summer 1999 -- 1st Term GRADES |

GRADES will be determined by the total number of points accumulated by the student during the term for each assigned activity and weighted according to each activity's importance. The points for class activities are weighted as follows: TOTAL FOR WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS 30% GROUP DISCUSSION 15% CASE-ISSUE DEBATE 20% PERSUASIVE SPEECH 20% FINAL ESSAY 15% In cases where the total number of points lies between two grades, such factors as attendance, class participation, and responsible handling of assignments may be considered in determining the final grade. |
