After teaching ESL in Africa for several years, completing an MA program in Atlanta and participating in a graduate exchange in Canada, I now teach at the English Language Institute on the majestic campus of the University of Alabama. Benefiting from a dedicated faculty who have years of teaching experience in many parts of the world, the program offers an intensive curriculum to prepare international students for academic English and cross-cultural awareness. To learn more about how I've become involved in the fields of applied linguistics and adult ESL, both in and out of the classroom, I encourage you to visit Curriculum vitae and Professional development.

By the way, you may have already guessed that bienvenue and mbolo mean welcome. You can discover more about my interest in French and African Bantu languages on the Biography page.
