The University of Alabama's Critical Languages Center (CLC) offers a full range of courses, from the elementary level through the advanced-undergraduate level, in approximately twenty less commonly taught foreign languages. These languages are offered through our membership in the National Association of Self-Instructional Language Programs (NASILP). Please feel free to explore the various languages offered by the CLC and use this site to find other resources for learning languages and exploring cultural resources on the web.

At the CLC students enjoy the benefits of small class size and direct access to online resources as well as to the Language Resource Center in B.B. Comer Hall.
