The Critical languages department at the University of Alabama offers three courses in Hindi every Fall and Spring semesters.

Hin-101- Basic Introduction to the Hindi script and sound system, greet and identify people, basic vocabulary and elementary grammar.

Hin-102- Talking about regular activities, discussing opinions and relationships ,use of ordinal numbers and colloquial expressions, using the future tense, expressing assumptions, giving gentle commands and using conditionals.

Hin-201-Describing past events, Expressing nuance in verb actions, Using the relative clauses, Using the passive voice, Using reflexive pronouns and using conjunct verbs.
