Numbers in Hindi

 

Numbers in Hindi are represented symbolically and each number is called by a different name. The following represent a list of numbers in Hindi from 1 to 10.The pronunciations are given in the parentheses. Also the symbolic representations of the numbers in Devanagari script are given at the end of each number.

एक(ek) = one (१)
दो(dho) = two (२)
तीन(theen) = three (३)
चार(chaar) = four (४)
पाँच(paanch) = five (५)
छेः(cheh) = six (६)
सात(saath) = seven (७)
आठ(aath) = eight (८)
नौ(nau) = nine (९)
दस(dhas) = ten (१०)
