The University of Alabama works in conjunction with the County Health Department in inspecting all facilities on campus which operate in food service. The facilities include, but are not limited to, fraternities, sororities, residence halls, day cares, etc. The Office of Environmental Health and Safety is the liaison between the University and the Health Department. The Health Department is paid an annual fee from the University for this service.
