Discovering Bama Committee
-Committee Chair: Kristi Aguirre
-Discovering BAMA is a program for prospective students that have been recommended by an Alumnus, who are interested in attending the University of Alabama upon graduation. When these students visit campus they are greeted by an SAA member who provides a welcoming face to the student's first experience here. The SAA member prepares the student for their tour and explains how the SAA works. This committee requires writing quick follow up letters to these potential students who have visited the University, assist with Discovering BAMA lunches, and assist in NAA meetings. Being a member of this committee allows better relations with our active alumni. |

Fundraising Committee
-Committee Chair: Brytney Snow
-This committee assists with t-shirt sales and developing new fundraising ideas. The main focus for the year is organizing the Big Man on Campus event. Being a part of this committee allows members to exercise the creative part of their brain. They are also a part of organizing events and seeing their ideas carried out.

Alumni Relations Committee
-Committee Chair: Candice Rosencranz
-The Alumni Relations committee works as a liaison between the Student Alumni Association and the National Alumni Association. We help write letters to the NAA presidents and their chapters to let them know what is going on at the Capstone. We attend NAA meetings and help host leadership luncheons and dinners that welcome alumni back to the Capstone while also connecting them to current students. We also host etiquette dinners to help prepare each member for the NAA meetings. This committee is also responsible for organizing the newly formed Alumni Mentoring Program. |

-This committee is in charge of developing community service activities that benefit the residents and children of the Tuscaloosa area. Members of this committee help with the Halloween Festival, raising money and cans for Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger, and more. |
