Advanced Social Psychology (PY 672)
Course and Instructor Evaluation
Please write an evaluation of the course and instructor. It is due Thursday, May 4, and should not have your name or student number on it. When you submit your evaluation, I’ll have you sign a separate sheet indicating that you gave me your comments. The collected comments will be taken by a student to the departmental secretary. I will receive them after the course grades are submitted.
There are no restrictions on length or content, but I would appreciate feedback on the following topics.
1. My teaching. What aspects did you find helpful? Are there any aspects that I should consider changing?
2. Readings and internet sites. Please comment on the usefulness of the articles and assigned sites. Do any stand out as particularly interesting or particularly bad?
3. Classes. Did the class sessions enrich your understanding of the course content? If so, in what way? How would you characterize the environment created in the classroom?
4. Course website. How useful was the course web site? Were there aspects that you especially liked? Do you have any suggestions for changes?
5. Workload and evaluation. How valuable were the reaction papers that you wrote? Were the extended and course themes papers useful or would you suggest another type of assignment? Do you believe that the assignments were fairly evaluated? Are there changes to the student requirements that you would recommend for future sections of this course?
6. Submitted discussion questions. How useful was this type of asssignment? Was the number of times that we did this too few, too numerous, or about right?
7. Additional comments. Is there anything else you wish to tell me that has not been addressed in your earlier comments?
