What is Advocacy?

According to EnvironmentalPrograms.net :

"Advocacy is working to influence public policy in social, economic, political, and cultural spheres in order to bring about justice and positive change in human rights and environmental issues. Environmental Advocacy involves both protecting the public from environmental hazards and protecting the natural world. Advocates organize a group around a cause and work to implement changes that have a lasting and positive effect."

What We Do

To be involved in Advocacy through the UAEC is to target the environmental awareness of our student body with the intention of bringing about action and change. This includes everything from launching creative informational campaigns, creating human or artistic displays, and publicizing our variety of education, service, and recreation events.

Further the Cause

If you want to contribute your skills in publicity, marketing, advertising, recording, filming, designing, drawing, painting or anything else with the power to make people stop and think, the UAEC can support your passion through environmental pursuits.
