International Press Corps

The International Press Corps is designed for students who are looking for something outside regular parliamentary procedure. In this committee, students will observe and report on the activities of the committees, prepare written articles for the ALMUNAC, and create video broadcasts for the conference.

Each delegate must submit a position paper in order to be eligible for committee awards. Delegates must submit a minimum one page background on press in their respective countries. Focus on the history of government involvement in the press and the most popular forms of media (television, print, internet. Position papers may be submitted to the Director General at almun.dg@gmail.com. Delegates may also bring their position papers to their first committee session.

Chair - Jackson Fuhrman

Jackson is a Senior majoring in Political Science and History. He has about 6 years of MUN experience, and loves international relations in general. He has spent the past 6 months interning in Geneva and Brussels, working for the Department of State, actively helping make U.S. policy abroad and advancing U.S. interests. He can't wait to see what articles are produced for this year's ALMUNAC!
