Each delegate must submit a position paper in order to be eligible for a committee award. Minimum 1 single-spaced typed page per topic (3 pages minimum for the 3 topics). The papers must be in Times New Roman, size 12 font, and delegates must cite sources.
Each position paper must include a brief background on the topic, the political position (on the issue) of the country that the delgate is representing, and any proposed solutions the country has to solve or alleviate the situation.
Tip: Even if you cannot directly find your country's position on a certain issue, you can infer one based on your government's past actions or positions on issues relating to the one at hand. Be resourceful with the internet - there's a lot out there that you can find if you look hard enough.
