Research Opportunitiy for an Alabama Hight School Science Teacher
The Enriched Xenon Observatory (EXO) is an international collaboration
formed to search for the neutrinoless double beta decay of 136Xe.
Measurement of this not yet observed, ultra rare decay would allow us
to learn more about the properties of one of the fundamental constitents of
matter called neutrino.
The EXO collaboration invites applications from Alabama High School teachers
to participate in this research. A 2 months stay at Stanford University in
California will be funded through the National Science Foundation.
