Ranger Company                                                                                                        
Trains ROTC cadets in the area of small unit tactics, patrolling, weapons and rappelling. During the Fall semester the training focuses on Ranger Challenge events. The Company divides  up into two teams that participate in the Brigade Ranger Challenge competition every October.

Kaydettes
Acts as the University of Alabama ROTC official host and hostesses at Capstone events and sponsors events like Toys for Tots, Blood Drives, etc. during the academic year.

The Crimson Kaydettes were chosen by the CCSO (Coordinating Council for Student Organizations) as the 2004-2005 best Service Organization on campus. The Kaydettes will be accepting applications for new members during the University's Get On Board Day currently scheduled for 31 Aug.

No military obligation. Open to everyone. 

Scabbard and blade
The primary purpose of Scabbard and Blade is to raise the standard of military education in American colleges and universities; to unite in closer relationship their military departments' to encourage and foster the  essential qualities of good and efficient officers; and to promote friendship and good fellowship among the cadet officers, and educate the community about the military.
