FCA RALLY TONIGHT AT 7 P.M. FEATURES
DAVID NASSER, BIG DADDY WEAVE, SHAUD WILLIAMS & MARK TOMMERDAHL
Tonight’s FCA meeting will be a Rally at 7:00 P.M. in the Calvary Baptist Church sanctuary as we will join other college groups for a time of celebration and worship.
The featured speaker will be David Nasser, a popular youth evangelist nationwide from Birmingham, and the music will be provided by the up and coming dynamic group called Big Daddy Weave. Our own Shaud Williams and Coach Mark Tommerdahl will give testimonials of their faith. This is the third consecutive year we have had a semester ending rally joining with other student Christian groups on campus.
David has spoken at FCA for the past four years and is outstanding. Big Daddy Weave is primed for nationwide acceptance. This group was formed in recent years from the University of Mobile. Shaud, our Texas Tech transfer, made a name for himself this year leading the Crimson Tide in rushing and running for 160 yards against Hawaii. Coach Tommerdahl is our Tight End and Specialty Teams coach and always communicates his faith well with college students.
This will be our last FCA meeting of the semester. Note again the time of 7 P.M. Come and bring friends for a great time of fun, fellowship, worship and celebration.

“You don’t need turkey and dressing to say thanks to those you love”…Bruce Wilkinson
“Materials possessions, winning scores, and great reputations are meaningless in the eyes of the Lord, because He knows what we really are and that is all that matters”…John Wooden
There’s a man in yonder glory, I have loved for years.
He has cleansed my guilty conscious and has banished all my fears.
He is coming in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.
And no time will be allotted just to utter one goodbye.
No time to kiss the husband or embrace the loving wife.
If they are but united in the bonds of holy life.
Are you ready Christian ready, for the shout and trumpet and voice?
Will His coming make you tremble or cause you to rejoice?
Are you walking, talking with Him, daily making Him your care?
Do you live so close to Heaven, that a breath will whisk you there? …Herbert Lockyear
“For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”…John 3:16
