U.S. AT WAR IN AFGHANISTAN: CONFLICT IN THE MIDDLE EAST

            These arewere the startling headlines in our local newspapers over the past three days. While everyone is thinking March Madness, across the world American soldiers are engaged in Military Madness. Some are dying for our country.

 

            The terrorist attack on America on September 11 is why we are the United States is at war in Afghanistan. President Bush and other national leaders have indicated that victory will be a slow and long process. In the Middle East, the Palestinians and Israeli struggle has escalated in recent weeks in spite of many peace accords.
