Evangelist Billy Graham met with first year leaders of the Alabama Fellowship of Christian Athletes on April 26, 1965 in Paul Bryant Hall. Mr Graham came to Tuscaloosa to preach in a one night service in Denny Stadium. Billy Graham and his evangelistic ministry has had a profound impact upon the Alabama family and the FCA throughout the years. On May 14-21, 1972, Billy Graham and his team held a Crusade in Birmingham at Legion field. On the platform for one service was: Front L-R: Mrs. Mary Harmon Bryant, Coach Paul Bryant, Joe Namath (Alabama, NY Jets), Coach Tom Landry (Dallas Cowboys), and Mr. Graham.
