| Coach Dick Spybey was Head Men’s Golf Coach at Alabama until he retired from the position in 2002. Dick then became a teacher and coach at American Christian Academy in Tuscaloosa, teaching history and coaching 9th grade basketball and baseball. He felt God’s leading and is enjoying his new role. He was the 1992 National Coach of the Year on the collegiate level and had many outstanding teams. He is a fine supporter of FCA and shares his faith often. His wife Mary is the football recruiting secretary at Alabama and son Rick attends American Christian Academy. |
