TRAVEL OPTIONS

Students who register for this course have the option of traveling to Aruba, the week of 20-27 May. The course is designed to facilitate an actual dialogue with students at the Universidat di Aruba who are interested in communication. Accordingly, course work prior to that week will be done to prepare students for participating fully in that exchange.

We will hold an initial orientation session, explaining the course options, WebCT entry, travel information, on Monday, 2 April, from 2-4:00, in 345 Reese Phifer Hall. If you have a conflict with that time and are unable to attend, you need to alert either instructor in advance.

All students registering for UH 300 or for TCF 389, sec. 003 must choose the travel option, signing the risk form and making the travel payments prior to Interim.

Students registering for COM 395 have the option of registering for the course without the travel component. Those who choose the travel option must register for COM 395, sec. 001.

Students who do not want to make the trip to Aruba may sign up for the course as COM 395, sec. 002.
