Endowment Needs and Naming Opportunities in the College of Continuing Studies

The College of Continuing Studies has the following endowment goals and the minimum gift amount required for a donor to name the endowed fund:

Endowed Scholarships: $300,000 Needed

An endowed undergraduate scholarship may be created and named as desired by the donor for a minimum gift of $20,000. Endowed scholarships for graduate students require a minimum gift of $50,000.

Endowed Equipment Fund: $200,000 Needed

An endowed fund to purchase and maintain distance education equipment may be created and named by the donor for a minimum gift of $25,000.

Endowed Program Support & Research Funds: $100,000 Needed 

To endow and name a fund to be used for research, environmental and industrial programs to help small businesses, or support of specific education/training programs requires a minimum gift of $25,000.

Additional Naming Opportunities in the College of Continuing Studies:

The following may be permanently named as desired by the donor for the minimum gift shown:

Distance Learning Media Center $250,000 (Bryant Conference Center)

Interactive Telecommunications Classrooms $100,000 (UA Campus in Tuscaloosa or Gadsden Center)

Endowed Lifelong Learning Lecture Series Support Fund $ 25,000
