Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award: Jason Spruell

Jason Spruell receives the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award from Dr. Thrasher. Jason was awarded for his research with Drs. Dixon and Shaughnessy using computational methods to determine the properties of catalysts, wich has resulted in one published paper and another in preparation. Jason has also done undergraduate research with Dr. Blackstock that resulted in a publication.

Dr. Szulczewski outlines Jaon's accomplishments. In addition to the Outstanding Research Award, Jason won a Deans Merit Award from the college, and was named the the USA Today All Academic Team.
