Biophysical faculty position - Southern Mississippi

THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, invites applications for at least one tenure-track assistant or associate professor position beginning August 2008. Applicants with research areas related to experimental physical or biophysical chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply, but exceptional candidates in any area of chemistry will be considered. All applicants must have a doctorate in chemistry or a closely related area, and a minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience. Applicants must show evidence of potential excellence in teaching and for developing a vigorous, externally funded research program incorporating doctoral students.
