Post-Doctoral Position at Dartmouth College

A postdoctoral position (one year, with the possibility of a second year) is available immediately at Dartmouth College with David Glueck for research on metal-catalyzed asymmetric synthesis of chiral phosphines (for example, JACS 2007, 19, 6847-6858, JACS 2006, 128, 2788-2789, and Org. Lett. 2007, 9, 1109-1112). Experience in synthesis and characterization (especially by NMR) of air-sensitive compounds is required; this project involves both organic and organometallic synthesis. Excellent communication skills are necessary, since the postdoc will work closely with graduate students and help to train and supervise undergraduate researchers.
