Provided the weather holds out, we will be doing our annual Luminaries on the Quad on Sunday, December 5, beginning at 8am. We will put sand in the bags, then transport them to the Quad. Again, depending on the weather, we will either put candles in before lunch or right before we'll light them. During the time they're lit, you're still needed to make sure the bags stay lit, man the hot chocolate table, and greet people. At 9pm, we'll stomp the bags out and finish cleaning up.
It's really important that everyone is there for as long as they can possibly be. This is by far our biggest project of the year, and we get more publicity for it than anything else, so it needs to go well. We will meet at the steps of Gorgas at 8am. If you have long-stem lighters, please bring them. If you have a big cup, please bring it (to put the sand in the bags). See y'all Sunday!
