For nearly a century, The University
of Alabama has provided opportunities for adult and non-traditional
students to pursue educational goals through the College of Continuing
Studies. The mission of the College is to make the resources of
the University available to the people of Alabama and beyond.
To that end, the College of Continuing Studies strives to provide learning without limits - learning that transcends the barriers of distance, time and accessibility. The College provides education in technology-based learning formats that non-traditional learners need. Courses are offered in the evenings and on weekends, at off-campus sites, through correspondence study and the Web.
