mortal loan
there is a cure for all disease
but not a cure for our mortal end
to god we will always try to appease
but he will take what has been lend
life is merely a simple loan
a loan all of us must pay back
though we will always moan and groan
of this loan god will keep track
the bloody hill
as i stare at the light so brightly gleaming
only one thought runs through my head
"i truly believe I'm not scare of leaving"
as i lay here still in my bed
in hopes of the fruitful afterlife
the one which we all will once seek
i slit my wrists with a knife
and now i am getting very week
the angels soon come to take me away
to a barren and desolate land
we will journey all night and day
"where are we" i will demand
they leave me here atop a red hill
covered with blood and the dead
if only for life there existed a will
i would lay alive in my bed |
