Shipping Biological Materials

You must have already received shipping training to following these instructions.  This will assist you in preparing to ship a package.   Packages containing biological materials that are to be shipped by air require EHS assistance with packaging and shipping. If biological specimens are to be shipped on dry ice, and dry ice is the only hazard in the shipment, you will need to follow the instructions at Non-Hazardous Items Being Shipped on Dry Ice.

If you are receiving biological materials that are class 3 or higher, these must be received through EHS.
