Anyone who works with radioactive materials or radiation producing machines shall receive initial training and information from their sublicensee and shall attend and successfully complete The University of Alabama Radiation Safety Training Course, offered by the RSO, at the earliest opportunity. The UA Radiation Safety Training is now offered at EHS via computer. To register for this training, call EHS (8-5905) to set an appointment date and time. Approximately one hour is required to complete the computer training course. Appointments can be arranged between 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Sublicensees should maintain documentation of all Radiation Safety training.
