ESSAY ASSIGNMENT #1

 

Write an organized and carefully argued essay on one of the following topics. Your essay should have an introduction and conclusion, should center on a thesis consisting of several points, and should make judicious use of supportive evidence from the texts (short, to-the-point quotations).

Mechanics:

  The essay should be double-spaced, 3-5 pages in length, and be typed or printed from computer.

  A title page is not necessary. Write your name on the top of the first page of text.

  Margins should be approximately one inch in width, font size 10 or 12.
