The Graduate History Association of the Department of History at the University of Alabama welcomes you to the Graduate History Conference on Power and Struggle. We are very excited about the quality of our panels for this year’s conference. This two-day event will consist of fifteen panels encompassing all areas of historical studies and a keynote address and reception.

Because we have limited web space, we have decided to make use of discussion boards available through Facebook. Please feel free to visit our group to make joint arrangements for travel, car rentals, and accommodations. We are please to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Matthew Connelly of Columbia University. Dr. Connelly will speak at 6:30pm March 6, 2009 with a full reception to follow.
