Christmas Kana!
Arghhhh!!!! Only two weeks left but it feels like forever until Christmas Break!
Since this is the last HPSA Happenings installment of the year the first thing I will tell you is have fun at the Faculty/ Student Holiday Mixer you are currently attending. Don’t forget to suck up to your professors-that never hurts on the week before exams. Also you must enjoy the wonderful catered food and Shirley’s Holiday music!
Hmm… now what to talk about… Well, next semester is going to be a blast! We have lots of ideas planned, but we need your input! First, there is the annual trip to the Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery, which is always fun. Feel free to ask those that went last year about the crazy antics of Raman (old HPSA President) and the after party at his house. The festivities included, but were not limited to: Indian food, crazy dancing and pants-ripping by then service chair Cliff Stewart! We also plan on participating in the Capstone Event, a day when the University gives back to the Tuscaloosa Community. Last year we did lots of gardening and we even got to play with some heavy-duty-power gardening equipment! Also, we are planning to go back to the Boys and Girls Club in Eutaw for more 4-square action!
Anyways, stay tuned to the UHP-L for event info and don’t forget to come to our first meeting of 2002, at 9pm on Feburary 5th in New Hall.
