Yippee-Ki-Yay

I want to start by telling everyone good luck on your finals. I know many of you (myself included) are beginning to sweat a little. It’s times like this when you have to come up with ways to relax. Damon Sutherland, for instance, decided to translate the United States Constitution into binary code. As relaxing as that sounds, I choose a more traditonal method of relaxation-watching Christmas movies.

It’s always hard for me to narrow down my choice. I mean you can choose between classics like “Miracle on 34th Street” and “It’s a Wonderful Life” or pick up one of the great comedies like “Christmas Vacation” and “A Christmas Story.” But when it comes down to it, I think the choice is pretty easy. Of couse you all know I am talking about “Die Hard.” What better way to open the holiday than watching Bruce Willis do what he does best? And, with classic Christmasy lines like “Ho, ho, ho, now I have a machine gun,” the room is filled with Christmas cheer. Note: keep in mind that if “Die Hard” is not available, “Lethal Weapon” is a good substitute.
Service Opportunity Revisited

Thank you to everyone who took some time out of their busy schedules to help our friends in Eutaw at the Boys and Girls Club. Keep an eye out for more service activities next semester!!!
