Reconfiguring the Old Libido

Help me. No, seriously, please. And if you won't do it for me, do it for Amity. Pity her because she has to put up with me if you want. But do come come out for Intramural Sports. We have a good chance of coming in first this year in All-University Points. And that would be A Good Thing (tm). Now that I've gotten that whine out of my system, here's an update about UHP/HPSA Intramurals.
Some of this may be repetitious to y'all, because I know everyone reads the weekly update from Arthur or Raman and there isn't much new here. But for those unlucky few with no computers, here goes the update. We are currently fielding two Men's bowling teams. Both are also currently filled, with a waiting list. We have a Men's basketball team (thanks to the generousity of those in the Intramural office for letting us sign up late). They play on Tuesdays at 5:30. Speaking for myself, since I am a participant, if you can do anything remotely athletic with a basketball, come on out. I'll gladly sit the bench if it means someone better than me is on the court. And that wouldn't be hard to accomplish.
As far as upcoming activities goes, we have several on the horizon. Starting Monday is sign-up for softball. The earlier I can sign up teams, the easier it would be to get attractive times. If you would like to play on either a Men's, Women's, or Co-ed team, let Amity or myself know. Please let us know the days and times to which you are available as well. This coming Saturday (the 10th) is Innertube H20 Polo. I've heard this is a lot of fun (I was unable to participate last year), and I would like to field at least one team. I believe it is co-ed only, though I'm not sure. Again, let one of us know if you want to play. For those many people asking me about the next tennis event, here it is. March 2nd is the Tennis Doubles tournament. So find yourself a partner and go on out. If you know of no one who wants to play, let me know and I'll get you someone. You wouldn't believe the number of people who asked me about this (I know I still don't).

Quick rundown on the events happening in early March. On the 6th is Roundball skills. I don't know what this is, but I'll have more information as time goes by. On March 10th is 4-on-4 Flag Football tournament. Again, let us know ahead of time if you want to play because we will definitely have at least one team participating. On the 13th is a Sports Trivia Tournament, involving a team of unknown number of players. I'll let you know.
Anyway, I think I'm all out of information right now. If you want to play, let Amity or I know. If you know anything about Bash Shell Programming, especially sed, defining SIGNALS, SIGUSR1/SIGUSR2 and the trap command, let me know specifically. I need your help.

This article was written using a vi-like shell script that I wrote. Yes, I know how horrible that is. Don't kill me for that, it was only nerd boredom.

I’m so lost. If anyone decides to help Damon, also help me. I have no idea what all that stuff was about “vi-like shell script”, or if he wanted those thingies within the brackets (<>) included in his text. Was that part of the joke? I’m sorry, I just read English, unaware of everything else going on. If you know, let me in on the joke. I like laughing. Ha ha. Wanna hear a joke? Well, ask your neighbor. I can never remember any. Besides, one needs a good delivery.
