Lard?
Yes, lard. You hear about all the great diets around now but no one ever talks about lard. Well, that is probably because unless you want to become very fat, lard will not do you much good. Anyway…I want to just take one second to tell everyone a little about HPSA sponsored teas. If you haven’t decided to come to one of these little presentations, you are missing out. Here’s why:
Next week our Provost, Nancy Barrett, will be speaking to us. It is not everyday that we are fortunate enough to have such powerful speakers at our fingertips. And, not only will she speak to her guests, she will also take an hour out of her busy schedule to meet and greet everyone attending and listen to their ideas about Honors. If anyone is interested in making some good political connections, mark the date down.
So next time you see a tea coming up just remember, if nothing else, you get free food.
Service Opportunity
The computers are finally ready to go! All Honors Students are invited to come to Eutaw, AL to help install a computer lab and play with kids at the Boys and Girls Club this Friday. Oh yes, there will be kickball! We are leaving from the back New Hall parking lot at 2pm.
