The Developmental Ecology and Human Biology Lab is a biological anthropology wet lab providing a center for research involving immunological, endocrine, and other biological markers. DEHB also supports the training of graduate and advanced undergraduate students, and enables students to incorporate biomarkers into their thesis/dissertation projects.

As an enterprise, DEHB exists to support research crossing levels of analysis, integrating physiological, cognitive, cultural and evolutionary approaches to human development. We seek to contribute toward human development theory and method through ethnographically grounded human biology research. We operate under the conviction that such a pursuit can serve to illuminate bioecocultural pathways toward differential health and well-being.
