| Che
farò senza Euridice | What alas shall Orpheus do |
|
GM7:48 |
| |
According
to GM, this appears in Austen in "full score ... for voice,
2 vlns, violetta, basso." You may be able to find it
in a score for Gluck's opera Orpheus and Euridice. However,
for keyboard performance, you can also find it online at Schubertline,
"the online score service for singers", a useful site
for viewing, hearing, transposing and purchasing music for singing.
It is also a common song in books of arias for soprano. |
|
You
may need to install the (free) Scorch software to see/manage this
song on Schubertline. Once you do, you can transpose the song
as needed, listen to the music, print the first page, and purchase
it for immediate printing. |

GM3:18 |
| |
In
GM, the words to this song begin "La danse n'est pas ce que j'aime
mais c'est la fille". I have not yet found this song online,
you may find it is a book of (tenor?) solos, as this is said to be
Gretry's most famous work. LV has only one song from Richard
Coeur de Lion, the 'Favorite March" at LV111/139. Not the
work in GM, but included here until something else can be found.

Sonatas for the Piano Forte or Harpsichord |

LV
does not have these three sonatas, but it does have two other keyboard
sonatas by Gyrowetz, at LV029/038. If you have access to the Three
Sonatas Op. IX ("dedicated to Miss Townsend") please let
me know. |
