Using the Interactive Tutorials
Introduction
These tutorials are intended to guide the user through the steps used in running the procedures in SPSS. There is little explanation of the statistical procedures and their associated output; this information will be covered in class lectures. The tutorials are not designed to be a substitute for class attendance but, rather, to supplement the information presented in class.
- The tutorial should automatically run when you click the link.
- You may choose to save the file to your computer by right-clicking the link.
- Open the tutorial and run it from this website, or
- Save the file to your computer.
- Follow the instructions on each page. Point and click on the screen as directed.

How to view the tutorials
- These tutorials are Microsoft PowerPoint©
files. (If you do not have PowerPoint, click here
to download the PowerPoint Viewer.) The browser you are using will affect
how you access them. Some of the files are very large and may take a few
minutes to download.
NOTE: You must view the PowerPoint files as a Slide Show in order to experience them interactively. When the file opens, you may need to switch from Normal View or Slide View to Slide Show.
