Mission:
The Forensic Psychiatry Web Page exists to move information rapidly with
in one highly specialized area. It is primarily, at least at first, aimed
at psychiatrists and attorneys in the US who need to have a place to start.
I feel strongly that too many pages give lots of color and too little final
data, so I have at least a commentary on all areas covered. Anyone may
submit thoughts, case references, and opinions. This page contains notations
referencing Alabama specific issues, but those relative to other states
can be submitted and will be shared.
I apologize in advance to those professionals in other countries who
find little here to help them. If you will assist me, I will expand to
cover you, but you will have to be clear about the differences in your
legal system and that of Anglo-America.
This page is dedicated to free information sharing. Commercial programs,
products, and organizations provide valuable services to all of us, and
I am happy to include notices and references, as long as the status is
clear. Any person who wishes to advertise here as available for any professional
