Searcy Hospital

Searcy Hospital operates a facility in the Mobile area. The administrative offices, rehabilitation services, 408 extended- care beds and a 124-bed intermediate care facility for persons with serious mental illness are located in Mount Vernon, 30 miles north of Mobile. The hospital provides a wide range of psychiatric, intermediate and extended care and rehabilitation services. All programs and facilities are accredited by the JCAHO. Female forensic inpatient services for the southern 1/3 of the state are provided at this site.
