| My research interests are in the area of marine microbial drug discovery. Microbes inhabiting the oceans of the world offer a vast opportunity to discover new small molecules with biological activities. I hope to combine my background in natural product drug discovery with microbial and molecular techniques obtained in Dr. Olson's laboratory to look for new drug candidates from marine microbes. | ||||||||||||||||
