Course Description Course Description: This course explores both little magazine and small press book publishing in the United States from the colonial period through the present. Emphasis is on the unique elements which both enhance the freedom and limit the viability of small publishers. Attention is also given to the literary ambitions and achievements of the publishers under consideration.
