The OWL grade is prorated to a maximum of 17 points currently. This was done so that the OWL points will have the same percentage contribution to your total grade. In the final grade, OWL will be worth 50 points.
If you want to know what you'll need to do to raise your grade to a desired value, you can use the chart below. Find your approximate percentage and you'll see what grades needed on the remaining work to ensure a D- (60%), C- (70%), B- (80%), or A- (90%). These projections assume replacing a low exam grade (10 points below overall average) with the final. If you have one really low exam grade, the score you need to reach the next grade up may be less. If you'd like to know what you need exactly to get to a given grade I'll be happy to calculate them for you.
