Laboratory Techniques
- Structure elucidation problems: A number of spectroscopy problems to practice on ranging from easy to difficult.
- Dr. Merlic's (UCLA) NMR page: I highly recommend this page. Good explanation of IR and NMR plus a large number of practice problems from simple to difficult.
- Proton NMR Interpretation tool: Another really cool site. This requires a shockwave plug in, but it allows you to predict NMR spectra and check your answer.
- Organic Chemistry Laboratory Topics: A really nice site with explanations of all of the experimental techniques we will use this semester along with movies to show you how the techniques should be performed.
