HEPHAESTUS
Hephaestus returns to Olympus. He holds the tongs of a forge, and the hammer on his shoulder. He is accompanied by Dionysus, because in the story he is said to have returned to Olympus half drunk. He cannot walk on his own, so he staggers and leans on the shoulder of a Satyr. [red figured pelike, 425 B.C., Munich Staatliche Antikensammlungen]
