Students may choose to travel with the group accompanied by the Director or may elect to reach Florence on their own. Seats have already been reserved for the Alabama in Italy Language & Culture Program.

Students flying with the group will receive a complete copy of the flying itinerary and of the travel agency contract details. Students who prefer to return to the States at a different date
need to inform the travel agent at the time of their booking.

COST OF THE TICKET
Estimated cost of airfare is $1,400.00 plus: taxes, airport charges, fees and processing charges. Because airline reservations must be secured early, students wishing to fly with the group should turn in their application and contact any travel agency as soon as possible.
Upon arrival the students will meet their host families. The first day of class is Monday May 31st. Students traveling on their own need to arrive in Florence no later than May 30.

Cell Phones: To ensure the safety of all the students, all participants are requested to have a cell phone while in Italy. Cell phones can be rented in the States before departure.
Students may use their current cell phone if equipped with international access.
