CONVERSATION CAFE

All structured conversation meetings will be held in the cafeteria area of Ferguson Center, or in a B.B. Comer Hall classroom. Conversation groups will work on specific grammar points and vocabulary topics as designated by the instructor.

Springtime in China starts with one of the biggest fesitvals of the year, the New Year, or Spring Festival. New Year's Day can be anywhere from January 21 to february 19, depending on the day of the first moon of the Lunar Calendar. In 2007, New Year's Day will be February 18th. 2007 is the Year of the Pig, or Wild Boar. The next biggest festival is the Lantern Festival.
