Quote from the Qur'an:


قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى كَلَمَةٍ سَوَاء بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلاَّ نَعْبُدَ إِلاَّ اللّهَ وَلاَ نُشْرِكَ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضاً أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَقُولُواْ اشْهَدُواْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُون

 (آل عمران)


Say: O People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Come to an agreement between us and you: that we shall worship none but One God, and that we shall ascribe no partner unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside God. And if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered (unto Him) (Quran 3:64)





                                          MSA MISSION




The Muslim Students’ Association is a registered student organization on the University of Alabama Campus. The MSA and its members are part of the UA community, the city of Tuscaloosa, and the West Alabama area.


The purpose of the Muslim Students’ Association is:

  • to enhance inter-cultural understanding and relationships among the UA students, faculty and staff;


  • to promote tolerance between different religious beliefs by creating awareness about the main social problems where people from all denominations need to work together to make a difference; and


  • to present to the UA community the true spirit of Islam.
