Travel to Tuscaloosa: The Birmingham International Airport is located about 60 miles east of Tuscaloosa and is the nearest commercial airport to Tuscaloosa. (The airport web site includes a highway map of Birmingham, a list of commercial airlines servicing the area, and a list of car rental agencies.) Driving Directions from Birmingham: Take Interstate highway 20 (also I59) West to Exit #73 (McFarland Blvd.) in Tuscaloosa. Turn right (north) onto McFarland Blvd. and proceed north for approximately 2 miles to University Blvd. From the exit ramp, turn right onto University Blvd. and proceed west about a mile to Hackberry Lane. Turn right on Hackberry and you will see the entrance to the parking lot for Gallalee hall on the left.
