The purpose of the Board is to assure community-based direction of the RAHEC programs. The membership of the board is divided between providers and non-providers of health services includes practicing health, medical, and dental service providers; consumers; students; and health education professionals. It reflects the population of the area demographically regarding race, ethnicity, and gender. The Board meets quarterly with additional called meetings as necessary.
