Welcome to the Homepage of Subhadra Gupta Dr. Subhadra Gupta is an Associate Professor of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. She joined the faculty in January, 2004. She holds M.S. (1978) and Ph.D. (1981) degrees in Physics from the University of Cincinnati. From 1981-1985, she was a Senior Research Engineer at Westinghouse R&D Center. She served as a Senior Scientist, Manager of the Thin Films Lab and PVD Process Development at Materials Research Corporation and Veeco Instruments from 1985-2000. Prior to coming to the University of Alabama, she served as Director of Technology for KDF from 2000-2004. Dr. Gupta has over 65 publications and five patents.
