OM Resume Book 2010/'11

The OM program at The University of Alabama emphasizes the use of quantitative an alysis for the effective design and management of business operations. The curriculum addresses the design and management of the resources and processes that any business needs to produce and deliver its products or services. Our students enjoy career opportunities in a range of different operations-related fields, such as manufacturing management, distribution, quality, materials management, procurement, logistics, transportation, and supply chain management just to name a few. In all of these fields, our students are able to apply the concepts and techniques from the curriculum to solve problems, to improve business processes, and to make sound business decisions.
